A Modern Site is a family-owned business, and we treat your information the way we'd want ours treated. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. No legalese games.
Who we are
A Modern Site, LLC, based in Silver City, New Mexico. You can reach us anytime at info@amodernsite.com or (575) 342-2737.
What we collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Information you give us. When you start a website preview with us, we ask for your name, email, and phone number so we can build and deliver your preview and stay in touch. During the interview, we also gather details about your business (your services, your story, your service area, and general business size) so we can build you an accurate website.
- Information collected automatically. If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel to understand how people find and use our site, and to measure our advertising. This includes things like the pages you visit and general, non-identifying usage data. You can decline these at any time using the cookie notice.
Why we collect it
- To build, preview, and deliver your website.
- To contact you about your preview and your project.
- To understand what's working on our site and improve it.
- To measure and improve our advertising.
What we don't do
We do not sell your personal information. We don't share your business details or contact information with anyone except the service providers we use to run our business (for example, our website hosting, payment processing, and the analytics tools named above), and only as needed to deliver our service to you.
Cookies and tracking
Our site uses cookies. Strictly necessary cookies (the ones that make features work) are always on. Analytics and advertising cookies only load if you accept them in our cookie notice. You can change your mind by clearing your browser's site data, which will bring the notice back.
How we protect your information
We limit who can access the information you share with us, keep it behind password protection, and store it on secured systems. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and we don't keep what we no longer need.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just email info@amodernsite.com and we'll take care of it. You can also decline analytics and advertising cookies at any time.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
